Bread of the Mighty (BOM), one of the oldest food pantries in Alachua County, has seen demand nearly triple during this crisis. As a result, BOM has been burning through cash reserves at an alarming rate. And when the government shutdown ends, there will be an unprecedented need for help to restock their reserves ahead of the next emergency.
