Bread of the Mighty is North Central Florida’s largest, most efficient food bank serving Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union counties. We work with retail partners, manufacturers, and farms to rescue high-quality food for those in need. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are able to purchase additional food resources to meet the needs of local families and individuals who struggle to put food on the table. The support of our partners and individuals like you enables our work to serve over 20,000 of our neighbors in need every day.

Bread of the Mighty solicits and distributes food and other products to more than 120 anti-hunger organizations and food insecure neighbors. People facing hunger are at the center of all we do. We support improved access to healthy and culturally preferred food, nutrition education, and advocacy efforts that address the root causes of hunger. We collaborate with a diverse network of community partners and government agencies, developing and implementing innovative health-centered food programs and systematic changes to alleviate hunger.
